About me

Modern Antique Prints started on Etsy in late 2021 when I was looking for a creative balance to my everyday life and wanted to build something of my own alongside my job.

I studied landscape architecture and always loved the design and creative aspects of it - working with colors, compositions and visual presentation. But in everyday working life, this was often overshadowed by the technical side. At some point I realized that I was missing this creative expression.

As I became more involved with old artworks, I noticed how many of these images disappear into the archives, despite their striking beauty. I wanted to find a way to make them accessible again - in a way that fits into modern spaces without losing their history. So I started editing the collected images, adjusting the colors and cropping the images to create new perspectives.

Every image I select and edit goes through a careful process - because for me there is a story in every detail. Modern Antique Prints has become a special project for me. I hope you can see that in my products.
