About the artworks

How I digitally revive antique artworks
The Discovery of Forgotten Masterpieces
In the archives of the world's largest museums, I find hidden treasures - antique artworks that have often disappeared into the depths of history. I carefully select each image before I process it further in my digital editing process. It's not just about the image itself, but about preserving and reinterpreting the legacy of past eras.

The digital restoration process
My process begins with detail work: I remove dust and other small imperfections that arise from digitization. Then I optimize colors and brightness to emphasize the original shine and vibrancy of the painting, making sure that the authentic character - such as fine cracks in the oil paint or the texture of the canvas - is preserved. Each digital restoration is a carefully executed work process that aims to bring out the artwork in its true beauty.

Selection of image sections for a modern aesthetic
I often choose to use only certain sections of a painting. This focused selection gives the works a more modern appearance and creates new perspectives without losing sight of the original art. The result is a contemporary version of a historical work of art that fits perfectly into modern spaces and tells new stories.

What makes my art prints special
In a world full of mass-produced and often superficially digitized art prints, I want to create something special with my brand Modern Antique Prints. Through my intensive and careful processing, each work of art differs in quality and attention to detail. My art prints preserve the fine craftsmanship and heritage of the old masters and bring it back to life in a modern environment.
